These headrests are made of lightweight aluminum and feature a tip resistant base, twist-proof square shank and infinite-height adjustment lock. In addition, they are powder coated to make cleanup easy. They can be quickly disassembled for transportation and storage.
Cradle Style Headrest
The Cradle Style Headrest features next generation ergonomics that hold the horse steadier than traditional headstands. This new design provides a large, flat resting area for the horse’s head.
Unlike most headrests, which have a rounded and narrow “U”-shaped chin rest, this large padded platform with gradually sloping sides is more stable. Thus, it is more secure for a sedated horse and places less strain on the mandible.
