Bone Files
Howard Bone File
This file is used after cutting a tooth to remove any small points that remain or to file down bone that may extrude from a removed tooth’s socket. It has two different heads (one coarse, one fine and slightly larger) to provide the exact degree of abrasion required. Overall length is 7" and the heads are 3/16" wide by 1/2" long. Stainless steel, German made.

Miller Bone File
This file is used under the same conditions as the Howard Bone File. However, it has larger and coarser heads. One head is concave with the fi le side on the outer curve. The other head is fl at and slightly angled. Overall length is 7- 5/8", head width is 1/4", head lengths are 3/4" (straight) and 1-1/2" (curved). Stainless steel, German made.

Canine Cutter
This
Canine Cutter is a reproduction of an instrument made in the early
1900's by The Haussman & Dunn Instrument Company of Chicago. In
addition to cutting canine teeth, it may also be used to cut small
incisors. It is stainless steel and is approximately 10" long.

Hibbs Chisels
These chisels are used to remove small pieces of tooth or bone that remain an extracted tooth's socket. They are ideal for smoothing out jagged edges in the lower alveolus after removing an impacted wolf tooth or to loosen a small tooth before extraction. The small, delicate size enables accurate placement to minimize the amount of tooth removed and prevent injury to soft tissue area.
Two styles are available - straight and slightly curved at the
head. Both have a
blade width of 1/2" (12mm) and are 9" long. Stainless steel and
